GSS develops and manufactures secure shipping containers which enables world-wide transportation of sensitive cargo. The Global Secure Container is the only ISO certified secure intermodal shipping container that provides six-sided intrusion detection, real time tracking, door opening alerts, and secure global communication and weight-reduction.

ABOUT OUR SECURITY SPECIALIST POSITIONS

This position will be responsible for monitoring security on containers deployed worldwide, communicating container security status to GSS personnel and container users, gathering data on deployed containers, and troubleshooting our low voltage security systems in our secure shipping containers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Monitor security systems on deployed containers worldwide, as part of a team providing 24hour/7 day coverage

· Maintain daily logs of security events

· Conduct and record security checks on active systems

· Test and monitor systems before deployment

· Report and or troubleshoot security alarms

· Work as a liaison between customers and security systems contractors to resolve issues

· Report security information to management

· Create Instruction/ process manuals for internal and external use

· Create and maintain records of daily problems and remedial actions taken

· Manage ownership of issues through lifecycle including follow-ups with the escalation team

QUALIFICATIONS

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interpret documents to ensure all rules and procedures are followed

· Great customer service

· Prompt attention to detail

· IT-type service and support

· Independent and proficient problem-solving, ability to follow through to completion

· Ability to multi-task and effectively manage time

· Monitor, troubleshoot, and test low-voltage electrical systems

· Manage technical software information

· Cad Experience

· Low voltage Wiring/Electrical Systems

· Microsoft office

· Instruction Manual creation/writing

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred

WORK ENVIROMENT:

· In house at GSS facility, and remote for overnight shifts

· Job Type: Full-time

· Salary: $55,000-$74,000 per year

· Expected hours: 40 per week
