As a Container Depot Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing operations at three different container depot locations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and effective management of container inventory, equipment, and personnel to meet customer demands and organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations at each container depot location, ensuring compliance with safety, security, and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound container movements, including inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Monitor container inventory levels and manage container yard space to optimize storage capacity.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of depot staff, including supervisors, technicians, and administrative personnel, across multiple locations.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement to achieve operational excellence.
Customer Relationship Management
- Interface with customers to understand their container handling requirements and provide timely solutions to meet their needs.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
Financial Management
- Develop and manage depot budgets, forecasts, and cost-control measures to achieve financial targets and maximize profitability
- Identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost savings through process optimization and resource utilization.
Quality Assurance
