Position Title: Invoicing and Shipping Specialist

Job Brief:

The Invoicing and Shipping Specialist manages the shipments, verifying the times, costs and methods of transport and collaborating with forwarders, transporters and customs operators to ensure compliance with the times and contractual conditions of transport. This position also prepares shipping documents verifying the completeness of all data needed to organize a correct shipment and invoicing.

Tasks and Day-to-Day in the role:

• Review invoices and packing lists from our suppliers.
• Track shipments leaving our intercompany locations and our local warehouses.
• Enter receipt of goods
• Issue/Email invoices to customers
• Communicate with customers on shipment questions/issues.
• Keep up to date records in our electronic portal.

Experience and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or additional schooling a plus
• 1-3 years Invoicing or Shipping experience
• Advanced excel skills
• MS Word and Outlook Experience required
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and great organization skills
• Experience working in fast-paced, high-volume business environments.
• A previous experience in a forwarding, transport or logistics company would be considered a plus.
