**Job Summary:**
Mancan is actively collaborating with a company in the Smithville area, seeking a skilled Shipping/Receiving Associate to join their team. This crucial role involves contributing to the efficiency of the manufacturing team by ensuring the safe, timely, and accountable handling of inbound and outbound materials. Effective communication and coordination with internal departments, customers, and external transportation representatives are essential components of this position.
**Job Responsibilities:**
- Loading and unloading of all inbound and outbound shipments
- Accurate verification of inbound shipments against associated Purchase Orders, including item/part number, quantity, quality, and engineering verification as necessary
- Timely processing of paperwork in coordination with Purchasing, Accounting, and Administration personnel
- Preparation and packaging of outbound shipments (Small Package, LTL, Truckload)
- Professional communication and coordination with internal personnel and external customers
- Material handling throughout the plant
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Conducting business in a professional manner
- Other duties as assigned
**Job Requirements:**
- Must have previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must understand workplace safety
- Must follow quality standards
- Must know how to use hand tools (tape measure, digital calipers) and power tools (cordless, pneumatic)
- Must have an understanding of basic computer skills (MS Windows, Word, Excel, MRP/ERP Application Software)

**Job Context:**
**Education Minimum:** High school graduate or equivalent
**Job-related experience:** At least 2 years of experience in Receiving
**Working hours:** Monday-Friday First Shift (6:00 am-2:30 pm, with overtime as necessary)
**Licensing/Certification:** Driver’s license; CDL
**Physical/Environmental Hazards:** Industrial machinery, Welding area, Paint Area, Noise
**Physical/Cognitive Essential Functions:** Read, reasoning, problem-solving, sit/stand/lay on the floor for extended periods, lifting, manual dexterity, driving
**Work Environment:** Manufacturing shop
**Pay:** $16.00/hr - $20.00 based on experience
