Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk. As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the warehouse operations.

Responsibilities:

- Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments

- Verify the accuracy of received items against purchase orders or invoices

- Prepare outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, and labeling

- Utilize warehouse management system (WMS) to track inventory and manage orders

- Operate forklifts and reach trucks to move materials within the warehouse

- Use RF scanners to scan barcodes and update inventory records

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines

Skills:

- Experience operating reach trucks, forklifts, and RF scanners

- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 software

- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order processing

- Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting packages and moving materials

- Knowledge of order picking, packing, and shipping processes

- Familiarity with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems is a plus

This is mainly an administrative position, but will require working on the warehouse floor when necessary.
