Shipping and Receiving Clerk assembles orders and prepares goods for shipment. Receives, unpacks, inspects and stores incoming materials and supplies. Being a Shipping and Receiving Clerk uses shipping records to verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders. Documents damages and discrepancies for future reimbursement and reconciliation. Additionally, Shipping and Receiving Clerk typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to supervisor. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. - Understand how to use UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager
- Follow Directions on what our process is for shipping Freight.
- Be versatile and help in the shop as needed when no shipping jobs are available.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shipping and receiving area
- Operate forklift to move and organize materials within the warehouse
- Learn the product and be aware of variation of products.
- High School Education
- Ability to follow directions and ask questions.
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
