Ranger Die is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment, solid computer skills, and great attention to detail.

Ranger Die is a family-owned tool and die shop and a metal stamping facility with a history of internal advancement and a reputation for great quality.

The Shipping & Receiving Clerk's primary responsibility is to ensure the accuracy of both incoming and outgoing shipments. Duties include verifying both materials and documentation for accuracy, as well as maintaining inventory records in the ERP. This position supports the Warehouse Manager in maintaining the organization of the warehouse and shipping area.

This is a day shift position, 30 - 40 hours a week, Monday - Friday

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Unpack and verify incoming shipments of goods and materials; inform purchasing of errors.
• Ensure goods and materials reach the appropriate location and are tracked in inventory.
• WIP parts and details into ERP inventory.
• Perform final inspection of parts to approve for shipment.
• Maintain the routine packing of parts and details for shipment, determining the correct packing materials for each item.
• Ensure that the appropriate shipping documentation is prepared and labeled as required for shipping.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks, and with movement of boxes and coils through the warehouse and shipping area to maintain organization.
• Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education - High School diploma or equivalent

Experience - none

License(s)/Registration(s)/Certification(s) - must be able to successfully complete training to receive permits for both forklifts and overhead cranes

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities - basic math skills; ability to read and write English; basic office clerical skills; ability to judge spatial relationships and use logic; ability to work well with minimal direct supervision, ability to work well with others; effective time management skills
