Shipping and Receiving Clerk jobs in Honolulu, HI

Summary/Objective

This position is responsible for properly receiving incoming inventory, timely staging and timely shipping outgoing orders while adhering to safety procedures and providing accurate, timely shipments.

Essential Functions

• Receive all parts that are shipped in, making sure they are received in good condition and packing slips match the part and quantity received
• Pack and ship orders to internal and external customers in the most efficient manner
• Maintain shipping logs
• Stock all parts in the parts warehouse after they have been checked in.
• Cross-check inventory accuracy with system entries
• Prepare and print shipping labels corresponding to shipping needs.
• Contact carrier and schedule shipping for each package.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and update supplies as needed.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Required Education and Experience

• One year parts/warehouse related experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have good organizational skills
• Basic computer skills

Pay: $18.87 - $22.72 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
