Being a Shipping and Receiving Clerk uses shipping records to verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders. Documents damages and discrepancies for future reimbursement and reconciliation. Additionally, Shipping and Receiving Clerk typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Description of Responsibilities:
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for efficient order fulfillment and shipment.

Schedule:
Monday - Friday 10:30am - 7:00pm with rotating Saturdays
Responsibilities include the following:
1. Understand and execute all product flow and order fulfillment processes.
2. Maintain current product knowledge in order to receive shipments and review and process orders accurately.
3. Restock supply cart for next business day. Receive and process customer returns.
4. Make sure stock is rotated at all times (First-In / First-Out method).
5. Maintain physical plant, equipment and supplies in pharmacy facilities.
6. Maintain a safe, clean and professional work environment.
7. Assist with maintaining adequate inventory levels, and improving inventory handling, space allocation and order efficiency; inform supervisor of items to be ordered.
8. Assist in packaging deliveries.
9. Place inventory items in proper warehouse location.
10. Pull Pharmacy supplies per Delivery Ticket instructions.
11. Participate in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agencies.
12. Participate in the pharmacy’s Performance Improvement program as requested by the Performance Improvement Coordinator.
13. Participate in pharmacy committees when requested.
14. Report any misconduct, suspicious or unethical activities to the Compliance Officer.
15. Participate in in-service education programs provided by the pharmacy.
16. Pursue continuing education programs appropriate to job responsibilities and certification requirements.
17. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:
Organizational skills sufficient to maintain consistently accurate records.
Effective interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.
Education and/or Experience:
1. Must have a High School Diploma or Graduation Equivalent Diploma (G.E.D.) or Higher.
2. Warehouse and/or shipping & receiving experience
