Shipping and Receiving Clerk assembles orders and prepares goods for shipment. Receives, unpacks, inspects and stores incoming materials and supplies. Being a Shipping and Receiving Clerk uses shipping records to verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders. Documents damages and discrepancies for future reimbursement and reconciliation. Additionally, Shipping and Receiving Clerk typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to supervisor. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. A manufacturing company is seeking a Production Worker to make batches, stack pails, lift up to 60 pounds, operate a forklift, and work with hazardous materials or chemicals. In addition, you will be cross-trained in all aspects of Manufacturing and Production. This is a first shift position.
Qualified candidates must have basic production and manufacturing experience, must be able to lift up to 60 pounds, must have the ability to follow directions, must not have any issues working with chemicals or wearing proper PPE, must be a team player, must be dependable, and must have own reliable transportation. Only candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered. Any candidate that can operate a forklift is preferred, but training is available. The company offers raises and benefits upon permanent hire.
