Shipping and Receiving Clerk assembles orders and prepares goods for shipment. Receives, unpacks, inspects and stores incoming materials and supplies. Being a Shipping and Receiving Clerk uses shipping records to verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders. Documents damages and discrepancies for future reimbursement and reconciliation. Additionally, Shipping and Receiving Clerk typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to supervisor. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. This is a part-time shift, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday.
PM Shift (2PM start) possible Fri-Sat. 4hr coverage depending on the weekly schedule.
Only AM shift would be Sat.

We have over a half-century of experience managing fresh, chill, and frozen food warehousing and distribution. We are currently seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our Oakland facility. Working within our Shipping and Receiving office this position will ensure daily operations are handled smoothly, professionally, and accurately.
We seek a detailed individual that can keep a calm and positive demeanor while working under pressure. Someone that can learn new tasks quickly and efficiently, is well organized and is great at multi-tasking.
Daily responsibilities include:
- Scheduling inbound and outbound deliveries of freight by phone
- Validating inbound delivery receipts and accurately completing paperwork
- Generating shipping documents for the warehouse employees and checking in and signing out drivers.
