Responsibilities

- Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Prepare items for shipment.
- Assemble, address, stamp, and ship merchandise or material; receiving, unpacking, verifying, and recording incoming merchandise or material; and arranging for the transportation of products.
- Examine shipment contents and compare with records such as manifests and orders to verify accuracy
- Record shipment data, pack, seal, label, to prepare materials for shipping, using hand tools, power tools, or postage meter
- Assist in other areas as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in excel preferred
- Previous shipping experience helpful
- Strong desire to learn on the job.
- Strong organizational, planning and analytical skills
- Must be able to organize work to meet deadlines.
- Reliable attendance, good work ethic, high integrity, must be able to pass background check and drug test.
- Clean, presentable and professional appearance
- Basic math skills
