Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. This is a vital role in our distribution center, ensuring the smooth flow of products to our customers.

Duties:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify the contents
- Inspect packages for damage and report any discrepancies or issues
- Unload and load delivery vehicles
- Sort, label, and store received items in designated areas
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking and packing items according to customer orders
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and update records
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries
- Ensure all shipping documents are accurately completed and filed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving preferred
- The ability to utilize software for warehouse management systems
- Familiarity with stock control procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds)
- Good communication skills
