Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk. As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and products in our foundry. This is a vital position that requires accuracy, efficiency, and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of the contents
- Inspect packages for damages or defects
- Unpack and stock items in designated areas
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling products
- Utilize order picking equipment to fulfill customer orders
- Maintain accurate inventory records using MRP (Materials Requirement Planning) systems
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve any shipping or receiving issues
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Familiarity with order picking processes and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
