Documents damages and discrepancies for future reimbursement and reconciliation. Additionally, Shipping and Receiving Clerk typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. OVERVIEW/ BASIC FUNCTION
The Receiver is responsible for ensuring all goods received have been properly approved, correspond to the quantities, prices and prescribed quality set by various departments. The Receiver ensures received goods are promptly delivered to respective sections or department.
The Receiving Clerk is responsible for all functions surrounding the receiving of all merchandise for the hotel. This position will work in the "Heart of the House" directly with the Director of Purchasing to support the day-to-day operations. This position will also work with the Accounting Department, and the Culinary Department.
