Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Summary: This position will Perform Shipping and Receiving duties such as packaging shipments and using computer software to generate paperwork. Prepare and ship Hazardous material. Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Assemble shipments accurately using a pick and ship methods*
2. Create paperwork using company software*
3. Make shipments using UPS, Fed-Ex, and other carriers’ software*
4. Move shipments using a forklift*
5. Prepare and ship hazardous material (will train) *
6. Dump bins of parts, keeping production moving*
7. Stage product at the correct machines*
8. Load and unload trucks in a timely manner*
9. Keep shipping area clean, take out all plant garbage*
10. Sweep floors daily to remove debris*
11. Communicate with area supervisors & leaders*
12. All other duties as assigned by the management*

Language Ability: Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series numbers, preferred. Ability to print and speak simple sentences, preferred.
Math Ability: A minimum ability to add and subtract two digit numbers.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; and less than one year related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred.
Specialized Training: Forklift operation Equipment, potential to use: Forklift Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities: Ability to adjust to changing work assignments and conditions
