Shipping and Receiving Clerk jobs in Springfield, OR

Distribute packages and mail to company recipients and assist with client communication to resolve any issues that may arise. Organize and store materials and components as needed. Prepare orders for shipment accurately and ensure all shipping documents are in order. Notify management of any low or out of stock levels. Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times and report any unsafe conditions to management. Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and follow instructions from supervisors. Perform basic math operations and communicate effectively with team members and customers.

Qualifications and Skills:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Ability to effectively communicate with others

- Basic math skills

- Ability to follow instructions and problem solve

- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and use hand tools

- Vision abilities for close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception

Physical Demands:

- Standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and using hands

- Lifting objects up to 50 pounds

- Using hand tools and occasionally sharp tools

- Talking, hearing, and communicating with others

Work Environment:

- Exposure to moving mechanical parts and equipment

- Fumes and airborne particles

- Occasional wet and humid conditions

- Work may be indoors and outdoors
