Shipping and Receiving Supervisor jobs in Santa Rosa, CA

E&M Electric and Machinery is looking for a motivated and detail oriented individual to manage warehouse operations in Healdsburg for the West Coast’s leading distributor of Industrial Automation hardware and software products.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manages Shipping and Receiving Team.
• Hires, trains, and delivers employee performance reviews.
• Supervises and participates in receiving, unpacking and verification of inventory from UPS, FedEx, etc.
• Supervises and participates in sorting inventory according to predetermined inventory procedures.
• Supervises and participates in picking, verifying, packing, and shipping of product using automated warehousing system.
• Supervises and conducts physical inventory counts; replenishes stock from back-up locations as needed.
• Transports inventory to designated areas in the warehouse utilizing appropriate tools/vehicles, hand dolly, forklift, electric dolly, pallet jack, etc.
• Performs quality inspections and accurate counts on incoming and outgoing inventory and products.
• Maintains a safe, clean working environment.
• Recommends and implements process/ procedure changes for efficiency and error reduction.
• Performs required administrative tasks on a computer, shipping/receiving/inventorying parts/orders, and email.

Required Experience:

Required Skills and Experience:

• Preferred two to four years related experience.
• Familiarity with warehousing practices and handling methods.
• Forklift certified (preferred not required)
• Ability to lead and work well as part of a team.
• Experience in Microsoft Office software is required.
• Must be computer literate.
• Ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage priorities, workflow and meet deadlines.
• Flexible and willing to work with constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.

Physical Duties:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:

• Lift and move up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Stand for long periods of time.
• Wear appropriate safety equipment.

Compensation

• The compensation range is $58;-65k annually, DOE.
