May require 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Additionally, Shoe Repairer is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager. GENERAL SUMMARY : Works with the Maintenance staff to maintain equipment in working order and to maintain the standards set forth by D.
C. management. Responsible for using tools and equipment necessary for the maintenance of the Distribution Center. Must follow all safety precautions when working with equipment, including Lockout / Tagout procedures.
Must maintain a sense of urgency while not jeopardizing quality and safety.
