May require 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Additionally, Shoe Repairer is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Avenger is the Army National Guard’s premier on-the-move defense turret that provides short-range air defense protection against air and land attacks.
Lightweight, easily transportable, and equipped with eight powerful Stinger missiles, it’s up to the Avenger System Repairer to maintain the automated systems that keep the Avenger battle-ready.
