Overview:
We are seeking a sewing associate to join our team. As a Sewing Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining sewing machines to fabricate items for car seats in a warehouse setting.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate sewing machines according to specifications
- Select appropriate materials and thread for each job
- Feed fabric through the machine, ensuring proper alignment and tension
- Monitor machine operation to detect any issues or malfunctions
- Perform routine maintenance on sewing machines, such as cleaning and oiling
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals

Skills:
To excel in this role, you should have the following skills:
- Proficiency in sewing techniques
- Knowledge of different fabrics and their characteristics
- Ability to operate various types of sewing machines, including buttonholer and serger machines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent quality standards
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting fabric accurately

Please note that all positions at our company are paid, including internship positions.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
