We are seeking a creative, driven, and highly motivated Junior Laser Tracker to join our team!

Summary :

The candidate has a strong background and passion in quality. He / she will be trained to verify that parts meet all customer requirements as specified in a customer quality plan.

We are looking for a candidate with previous experience in a similar field and a good knowledge of inspection methods.

Responsibilities :

After proper training the candidate will :

• Verify that manufactured and purchased parts conform to engineering specifications and drawings utilizing a Laser Tracker
• Mark up manufactured parts for finish machining operations as required by the manufacturing routing
• Provide subassembly personnel with inspection data when adjustments are required to meet final accuracy requirements
• Verify that subassemblies meet the accuracy requirements specified by engineering specifications and drawings
• Create programs for Laser Tracker from part drawings and CAD data
• Create inspection reports from gathered data and process Defective Work Tickets

Qualifications & Experience :

• Blueprint reading
• Understand GD&T
• Able to use Microsoft Excel
• Good communication skills. Both written and verbal
• Able to climb ladders and operate scissor-lifts
• Able to sit, walk, stand, crouch, and crawl more than 8 hours per day
• Basic math skills
• Highly motivated

Education :

High school education (or GED).

Other Requirements :

• Must be a team player.
• Must work Overtime as required

Physical Requirements :

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
