Being a Shop and Alteration Tailor is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Additionally, Shop and Alteration Tailor performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
**MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE with-Men's Clothing (Jackets & Trousers)**
-Alter seams vented or unvented, take in shoulder blades, reduce chest, narrow shoulders.
-Rotate sleeves shorten sleeves as needed
-Shorten back, shorten collar, and square shoulders as needed or requested
-Shorten coat, re-line coat, and or remake inside or outside pockets
-Operate and maintain all sewing equipment
