Looking to partner with a tailor on piece work/overflow work load.
Responsibilities:
- Perform alterations and repairs on garments according to customer specifications
- Use sewing machines, sergers, and other tools to complete sewing tasks
- Measure and mark garments for alterations
- Sew hems, buttons, zippers, and other fasteners
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of all alterations
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and ensuring satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Proficient in basic math for measuring and calculating fabric requirements
- Strong sewing skills with experience in garment construction
- Knowledge of different fabrics and their properties
- Familiarity with sewing machines, sergers, and other sewing tools
- Previous experience in fashion retail or a similar environment is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Strong communication and customer service skills
