As a Shop Foreman, your typical responsibilities include:

• Supervise technicians engaged in repairs and maintaining mechanical shop equipment
• Supervise onsite training for mechanics
• Inspect all repairs in progress and upon completion to ensure all repairs meet required standards
• Must have complete set of tools to participate in repairs and instruct technicians in repairs to all equipment.
• Maintain accurate work records and assist both Technicians and customers with quotes on repairs.
• Demonstrates continuous effort to improve shop operations, decrease turnaround times, and work cooperatively to provide quality customer service.
• Aid in technical assistances to our customer base when needed.
• Provide guidance to all shop technicians in career path training
• Maintains shop tool records.

Requirements include:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have a high working knowledge of agricultural and compact construction equipment functions and repairs with previous mechanic experience, preferably in a dealership setting.
• Knowledge of the principles of supervision and personnel administration.
• Knowledge and awareness of safety practices and principles.
• Must have good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Complete use and knowledge of all computer base information aiding in repairs and to stay updated on new developments, product information, and solutions.
