Position Description Includes:
Customer Service:
· Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
· Resolve customer issues that may arise and exceed customer expectations.
Operations:
· Excel in visual merchandising to drive sales.
· Oversee store sales floor and back of house standards.
· Control Inventory/Loss Prevention by maintaining proper inventory levels, ensure stocking, and maintaining contact with suppliers to ensure maximum efficiency in meeting sales goals.
· Report on buying trends, customer needs, profitability to leadership when requested.
SALES:
· Oversee budgets and costs for store
· Control profitability within the store level
Talent:
· Be a shining example of behavior and high performance.
· Recruit, on-board, train, and develop store talent.
· Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs and build career paths.
· Implement cross-training of employees to always maintain productivity.
Requirements:
· Excellent customer service skills
· Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
· Previous knowledge of pool and spa products and chemicals is a plus, but not necessary.
· Proven successful experience as a retail manager (at least 2 years) is preferred.
· Strong leadership abilities, business acumen, and organizational skills
· Able to work a minimum of 40 hours/week and available to work Saturdays during our busy season (end of May- end of August)
· Ability to lift in excess of 20 pounds and to stand for long periods of time, bend, stretch, engage in repetitive motions, push, pull, and carry items for a short distance.
· Ability to climb a ladder and use a step stool.
