Shuttle Driver - Casino drives a casino-owned bus, minivan, or car. Transports guests to and from hotel and designated locations. Being a Shuttle Driver - Casino must have a driver's license. Responsible for the transportation and safety of Club members to and from the Club and other associated locations.
Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week
Salary: $15.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
Perform beginning-shift vehicle inspections before departure.
Complete bus route on schedule while stopping at all stops.
Assist Club members with embarking and disembarking when needed.
Ensure all Club members use safety belts.
Safely transport goods and passengers.
Report all mechanical issues to Facility Operations and Safety Director immediately.
Obey all traffic laws.
Maintain a clean and sanitary bus at all times.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to adapt to inclement weather conditions and/or situations.
Possess the speech, vision, and hearing functions necessary to respond effectively to emergency situations.
Capable of performing physically and mentally in a reasonable manner all essential job responsibilities, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED:
Fill buses with gasoline when needed.
Take buses for regular service appointments.
May also need to provide assistance in Club programs.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
No CDL required
Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with Club management and Club staff.
Ability to effectively set and maintain appropriate boundaries around members.
Reliable transportation to and from work, to Club/Bus location(s)
Pass a criminal records background check.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Understand and carry out instructions and procedures with minimal supervision.
Communicate effectively both orally and in writing using correct English.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Experience working with youth is preferred.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
At least 25 years of age.
High school diploma or GED.
Clean driving record
Valid Indiana driver's license.
Mandatory CPR and First Aid Certifications.
Legally eligible to work in the United States.
