Sleep Center Manager manages and oversees the day-to-day operations of one or more sleep centers. Responsibilities may include staffing, training, scheduling, budgeting, and marketing for the center(s). Being a Sleep Center Manager ensures patient care meets high-quality standards. Develops and implements policies and procedures for the sleep center(s). Additionally, Sleep Center Manager typically requires a bachelor's degree. Requires registration as a Polysomnographic Technician. Typically reports to a director. The Sleep Center Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Sleep Center Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Our three facilities are equipped to handle a high volume of patients seeking specialized care in pulmonary and sleep medicine. We are committed to delivering comprehensive and compassionate medical treatment, and we are now seeking an experienced Front Desk Administrator to join our dynamic team.

    Position Overview:
    We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and empathetic Front Desk Medical Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our patients. Your warm demeanor, excellent organizational skills, and outstanding communication abilities will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients receive efficient and compassionate service.
    You will schedule and check-in patients, answer telephones, obtain/verify patient insurance/benefits, manage incoming referrals and faxes, contact patients for medical information, support the billing team, etc. 

    The primary location is 7505 Glenview Drive in North Richland Hills; willingness to travel between our other two office locations located in Alliance and the Medical District of Fort Worth will be needed. 

    Duties and Responsibilities Include:
    • Obtain pre-authorizations & manage incoming referrals from other physicians
    • Maintain waiting room
    • Patient Check-In/Check-Out: Greet patients, verify their information, collect co-pay and/or deductible, and assist with the necessary paperwork for appointments.
    • Appointment Scheduling: Efficiently manage appointment bookings, register and schedule patients to ensure the clinic's schedule runs smoothly.
    • Telephone and Email Communication: Answer multiple phone lines. Handle patient inquiries, appointment confirmations, and general queries via phone and email while documenting encounters in the electronic medical records system.
    • Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance information and ensure accurate billing details are collected.
    • Medical Records Management: Maintain organized and up-to-date medical records for each patient.
    • Patient Assistance: Provide directions, information, and support to patients as needed.
    • Collaboration: Coordinate with medical staff, administrators, and other departments to ensure efficient patient flow.
    • Adherence to Protocols: Follow clinic policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines, including HIPAA.

    Required Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Strong computer skills
    • Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance verification procedures, and appointment scheduling
    • Empathetic and friendly demeanor, with the ability to provide exceptional patient care
    • Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a customer-facing role, ideally within a healthcare setting

    Preferred:
    • Ability to cross-train with back office
    • Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance procedures, and appointment scheduling
    • Ability to work M-Th 8:30-5pm, F 8:30-1pm

    Compensation: Starting from $16.50 or DOE
