A Polysomnographic Technologist works under the general supervision of the clinical director (MD, DO, or PhD) or designee to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. This may involve polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services or patient care and education. A Polysomnographic Technologist can perform the duties defined for a Polysomnographic Technician and may provide supervision of other staff. Care is delivered within the framework of the Mission and Philosophy of the Health Center, which directs are relationships with patients, visitors and fellow employees and recognizes that healing is best accomplished when we meet the needs of body, mind and spirit.

Salary Range: $22.77 - $31.88

EDUCATION & REQUIREMENTS

• High School diploma, AA or AS degree preferred

•  Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the population served in Sleep lab

•  Minimum of one (1) year experience as a Polysomnographic Trainee with documented proficiency in all required  competencies

• Certified by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologist as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or registry eligible required

• Current AHA BLS certification required

• Bilingual and/or English-Spanish speaking preferred. Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently. Ability to work with culturally diverse population
