The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center is in search of a Seasonal Bar Manager for Blue Gene’s Pub. This position works directly with the Operations and Production Manager to ensure the Pub’s success.
This is a non-exempt hourly position and is expected to work 40 hours per week, including weekends. The salary for this position is a weekly stipend of $720, plus tips.
Along with working with the Operations and Production Manager, the Bar Manager must coordinate with O’Neill staff for all events including regularly scheduled shows, development events, rentals, and more. Candidates should have a firm grasp of bar management with the ability to develop and achieve goals, promote teamwork among bartenders, and create a welcoming and safe environment for patrons.

Experience
Qualified candidates will have at least 1-year of professional experience in bar management or 5-years in professional bartending. They will also be comfortable handling cash, experience working with an EPOS till system, stand for long periods of time, and be able to lift at least 50 lbs. TIPS certified preferred. Must have the ability to work independently.
