The Position: PAR seeks a dynamic full-time Sleep Manager for our Sleep Departments. The position will work with the Sleep Manager managing the day-to day activities and operations of PAR's five sleep clinics, and assist with the daily supervision of Medical Assistants, Patient Care Representatives, and Day, Night, PRN RPSGT employees. Clinics will be divided but coverage of all will be indicated as needed. Work Hours: The work hours are 7:30 am to 4 pm. Will require on-call 7 days a week on a rotating shift. This is a nonexempt position.
Job Responsibilities:
Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Undergraduate or Master’s degree in related field preferred. 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting preferable. One years of management/leading experience in healthcare preferred. Two years of experience in a Sleep center setting preferred. Allscripts PM and EMR experience highly desired. Certifications: RPSGT Credential preferred.
Knowledge:
Knowledge of medical office protocols and procedures. Knowledge of Sleep Medicine. Knowledge of medical insurances and reimbursement practices. Knowledge of personnel management principles. Knowledge of Pulmonary Associates of Richmond employment policies.
Skills:
Skill in learning new computer software and web-based applications. Skill in delegating and supervising workflow. Skill in conflict resolution and de-escalating tense situations.
Abilities:
Ability to coach, counsel, and motivate employees. Ability to work under deadlines and stress. Ability to recognize and respond appropriately to urgent situations.
