Sleep Technician
Precision Diagnostic Services d.b.a Precision Sleep Services is pleased to announce an opportunity for a PRN sleep techs. We are an independent sleep lab opening a new location in Tooele, Utah. We are looking for a bright sleep techs, we prefer experience (but are willing to train the right canidates) to help us provide exceptional care. This is a PRN position for now, but could easily develop into full-time and possibly a lab manager down the road for the right candidate. We are also looking for sleep techs who are just starting their training. Willing to train the right people. THIS DOES REQUIRE YOU TO GO TO SCHOOL ONLINE, WE ARE WILLING TO PAY FOR IT WITH A CONTRACT TO WORK FOR US FOR A SPECIFIED PERIOD AFTERWORD. Would love someone to work between our West Jordan and soon to be Tooele office, but we will work with the right candidates. If you are already registered, we would love to talk with you too.

• If you are a registered sleep technician (RPSGT/RST), we would be excited to interview you!
• Work will be night shift from 8:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• We need someone who will be committed to legendary patient service.
• RPSGT/RST or other sleep licensing is preferred but not required.
• Willing to train the right canidates.
• Individual must work well independently and have some computer knowledge.
• Knowledge and experience in providing care in all aspects of sleep studies is preferred.
• Must be dependable, honest, punctual and hard working.
• MUST BE WILLING TO ENROLL IN ONLINE SCHOOL WHICH CAN BE PAID FOR BY YOUR OR US DEPENDING ON WHAT IS SET UP WITH YOU.

Primary Responsibility:

The Sleep Technician, under the direction of a physician and RPSGT, will be responsible for administering various sleep studies in order to diagnose the type and extent of sleep disorders. Performs routine patient assessments, scores sleep records, documents other test results, and collects and transmits biological specimens for analysis. The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience in sleep study preparation and set-up. In addition, candidate will be able to follow standard sleep study procedural protocols, perform necessary physiologic calibrations, document observations, implement appropriate interventions, generate accurate reports, and provide patient education and instruction. The position reports to the Owner.

Education, Licenses/Certifications, and Experience:

• Successful completion of an accredited educational program leading to a certificate or associate degree with an emphasis in sleep technology.
• Prefer current certification by a nationally recognized certification board: Either the Registered Sleep Technologist (RST), Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), or Respiratory Therapist with a Sleep Disorders Specialist (SDS)
