River Hills Country Club is seeking a dedicated and experienced Pool Manager to oversee the operations of our pool facility. The Pool Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of service to our members as well as a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests, managing staff, and organizing events. This is a full-time seasonal position.
Pool Supervisor
Reports to: Clubhouse Manager
Supervises: Pool attendants
Education and/or Experience
· High School diploma or GED.
· Must be 21 years of age or older
· American Red Cross Basic First Aid required, training on AED units and possession of a current Red Cross CPR card
Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations
· Monitors and coordinates pool safety programs and risk management
· Employs only those methods and teaching techniques outlined and approved by the American Red Cross
· Thoroughly understands how to perform inspections regarding pool safety

Job Summary (Essential Functions)
Responsible for supervising River Hills Country Club employees assigned to the pool, monitoring the entrances, supervising the Cabana operations. Maintains club standards for safety and cleanliness in and around the pool area. Monitors service levels for pool side lunch service and reports any issues to the Clubhouse Manager.
Job Tasks/Duties
· Supervises pool employees; Ensure that proper levels of service are being met. Assist with service.
· Trains, supervises and evaluates staff.
· Assists in formulating weekly work schedules and rotation schedules for all pool employees.
· Manages employees that register members at pool entrance.
· Provides continuous training for pool staff.
· Checks chemical levels and reports any inadequate levels to Clubhouse Manager.
· Enforces club rules of safety and conduct.
· Assists in rendering First Aid according to the standards established by the American Red Cross and American Heart Association.
· Participates in planning and oversees execution of special events at the pool.
· Interacts with outside contractors to maintain and upgrade pool areas.
· Provides aquatics-related information for club newsletter.
· Assists in the development of the pool safety program.
· Trains all pool employees on the pool safety program and ensures the safety standards are maintained at all times.
· Schedules staff to provide adequate protection for members and their guests.
· Maintains and keeps all necessary records concerning pool attendance, accident reports, problem-member reports, etc.
· Manage pool area lost and found articles.
· Manages pool area, including lockers and changing rooms for cleanliness.
· Oversees pool snack bar cabana area.
· Maintains presence during special pool events.
· Operates pool and surrounding area in compliance with OSHA requirements.
· Attends staff meetings.
· Performs other appropriate tasks assigned by members of management.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
· Working conditions are often hot, humid, slippery and wet.
· Able to work in a busy, noisy environment.
· Able to tolerate the smell of chlorine and frequent exposure to cleaning agents.
· Able to meet and perform the physical requirements and to work effectively in an environment which is typical of this position.
