As a Production Supervisor at Itron, this individual will direct the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, including quality and cost. The individual will also prioritize production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply as well as be responsible for planning and administering procedures and budgets. Makes budgetary recommendations regarding and, at higher levels, controls capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor. Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Accomplish weekly production goals.
• Ensure team executes efficiently with acceptable levels.
• Discipline and document employees performance issues.
• Approve vacation requests.
• Manage headcount and termination records to ensure team is correctly staffed.
• Strong leader able to coach, mentor and assist with training teams.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, monitor work in process and rework levels.
• Assist with new product introduction.
• Audit work procedures and ISO procedures.
• Basic skills with MS Office and Word.
• Monitor process indicators.
• Monitor progress of team metrics.
