The Role

The Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the smooth operations of the Spurs Club's floor and restaurant area, ensuring exceptional service delivery, member satisfaction, and adherence to club policies and standards. He/she will lead a team of floor staff, coordinate events with the member service team, and maintain a welcoming and upscale environment for our esteemed members and their guests.  This role reports to the Food and Beverage Manager.

The Spurs Club is a first-of-its-kind chef-driven private social club and restaurant located atop the Victory Capital Performance Center at The Rock at La Cantera.  Members can gather to work, entertain, and unwind in a premier style.  Members will enjoy an array of amenities including multiple bars, fine dining, lounge/personal workspace, and unparallel access and connectivity to the Spurs Organization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, train, and supervise floor staff, including servers, bartenders, hosts/hostesses, and bussers.
• Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Schedule staff efficiently to meet operational needs while controlling labor costs.
• Foster a positive and cohesive team environment through effective communication and conflict resolution.
• Ensure that all members and guests always receive exceptional service.
• Address member concerns and feedback promptly and professionally.
• Anticipate member needs and proactively resolve any issues to enhance their experience.
• Oversee daily operations of the club's floor area, including opening and closing procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with management to replenish supplies as needed.
• Implement and enforce club policies and procedures consistently.
• Collaborate with the member service team to plan and execute club events, private parties, and special functions.
• Coordinate with vendors, entertainment, and other external partners as necessary.
• Ensure seamless execution of events while maintaining high standards of service.

Qualifications:
• Two years' experience in a fine dining or club environment.
• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a private club or upscale restaurant.
• Strong attention to detail and extremely organized with elevated time management and prioritizing skills.
• Familiarity with Point-of-Sales systems.
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced, team orientated setting.
• Knowlege of food and beverage operations, including bar service and event coordination.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Ability to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time.
