Suppose you are an experienced Sous chef or capable Line Cook ready to step up and assume additional responsibilities and add leadership to our ala carte service. Additional incentives include very few late nights, as our average end of the shift is 9:00-9:30 p.m. We offer a full range of benefits, including insurance, paid holidays, vacation time, and golf privileges.
Responsibilities:- Follow recipes and special dietary or nutritional restrictions.
- Guide staff to Consistently prepare food items according to the menu.
- Maintain or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards, including uniform laundering.
- Prepare daily lunch and dinner specials according to club standards.
- Prepared to work a flexible schedule.
- Undertakes other responsibilities as directed by the Executive chef.
Requirements:- Minimum of 2 years culinary experience in a high-volume professional kitchen.
- Must be able to work in a team environment with passion and a good attitude.
- Must multi-task in a fast-paced environment with good time management skills.
- Must have a passion for the culinary arts and a willingness to learn.
- Working knowledge and practice of sanitation practices and procedures.
- Be able to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs.
- Be able to work long shifts and stand for long periods.
- Organizational skills that result in accurate, timely, and thorough work.
- Must have the ability to effectively and efficiently manage daily workload.
- Strong communication skills with fellow employees and managers.
- Food creativity is encouraged.
- Be able to work at various banquet stations when needed (omelet station, carving station, sauté station, etc.).
- Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Salary:- $48,000 - $55,000 depending on experience.
Education:- High school or equivalent (Required).
