Being a Slot Floor Person prints jackpot tickets, obtains customer identification, and completes appropriate forms. Ensures compliance with federal and state gaming regulations. Additionally, Slot Floor Person may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Slot Floor Person may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Repair, maintain, and monitor the operation of assigned electronic gaming devices. Participate in the move of any slot-related equipment. Monitor the performance of slot machines, activity, and conditions of the casino slot areas ensuring all slot machines are operable and identified for repair as necessary. Responsible for assisting guests and answering questions regarding the use of Resort Club cards, machine payouts, promotions, events, and the location of amenities and machines. Stocks machines with tickets and conducts transactions for jackpots.
