What We Offer:
- Salary rate: $60,000 - $80,000 Bonuses (based on experience)
- $80 to 120K earning potential
- Full Time: 40 hrs., 5-day work week (Monday – Sunday: must be able to work weekends)

Responsibilities:
- Oversee & direct the performance of the sales team
- Ensure client relationships are built & follow up is completed on all jobs
- Set sales goals & track/analyze sales statistics
- Developing new business accounts
- Manage time between showroom & prospecting for new business
- Overseeing sales, promotions, and campaigns
- Handling & resolving customer complaints
- Provide outstanding customer service & lead by example
- Keep up to date on the wide selection of products & services
- Review space/area measurements & calculate number of materials for project
- Will be point of contact for customer to complete following: provide sample suggestions, schedule installation team, perform quality control, present project proposals, and relay any communication from estimators/project managers throughout project
- Communicate with vendors to determine product specifications & availability
- Help to maintain showroom by keeping samples, displays, and common areas neat, current, and clean
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ proven work experience in Retail Management, Sales Manager, Flooring Sales, or similar role
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in communications, business management, or a similar field a plus
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook & Excel
- Able to guide & mentor sales representatives
- Ability to set sales targets & achieve them effectively
- Strong analytical skills to identify trends and sales patterns
- Exceptional critical thinking & problem-solving ability
- Strong personal & professional judgment
- Organizational skills & the flexibility to jump from priority to priority
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills
- Strong time management skills
- A positive attitude & desire to exceed expectations
- Knowledge of the flooring industry a plus (Willing to train)
- Knowledge of RFMS & salesforce-based CRM program a plus (Willing to train)

Schenectady (/skəˈnɛktədi/) is a city in Schenectady County, New York, United States, of which it is the county seat. As of the 2010 census, the city had a population of 66,135.
