We are a family-owned establishment, constantly busy and growing in the search of exceptional, hard working individuals to join our dining room staff. Earn money while having fun in a fast paced, team environment. Hosts play a vital role in our overall guest dining experience and speed of service.

Hosts share in tips! You can make from $2 to $6 more per hour depending on the day and time you work. With your base pay and tips, earn an average of $18 per hour!

We offer flexible scheduling, consistent hours, knowledge of oriental cuisine and culture, and a warm, positive work environment with opportunity to grow and refine your full service hospitality experience. You may come in any time from Friday to Sunday from 11am - 3pm to fill out an in-house application.

We are seeking a weekend Host with 11am-3pm / 5-10pm availability.

Host Duties:

• As the first face to welcome clients, represent the restaurant warmly, courteously, and professionally
• Time management and seating customers utilizing Yelp Reservations
• Taking to-go orders utilizing Toast POS System
• Answering the phone and respond to questions concerning the menu, reservations and the restaurant
• Assisting the server with delivering beverages and entrees to guests
• Preparing for the dining service by sanitizing resetting tables, plates and silverware
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of host stand, service areas, and restrooms daily
• Preparing and communicating thoroughly - you can write well, speak well, and explain anything to anybody

REQUIREMENTS:

• Working in a fast-paced, high pressure environment while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work well in a team environment with all levels of team members.
• Exhibits professional and effective communication amongst both FOH and BOH staff.
• Arriving on time and communicating requests for day offs in a timely manner.
• Must be available for one shift during given holidays.
• Following all Company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Must have ServSafe food handler’s certification.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 30 per week
