SUMMARY: 

The Slot Performance Manager will make recommendations to the Director of Gaming Operations and Manager of Gaming Operations concerning implementation of services, technologies, and processes to ensure the department’s competitive position. They will oversee the repair department and maintenance department and its Team Members and are responsible for the day-to-day operations of gaming related equipment and all repairs and installations of Slot Machines. 

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES ASSIGNED:

       Not limited to but includes the following: 

• Coordinate and execute strategic plan with the Director of Gaming Operations and Manager of Gaming Operations.
• The initial driver of incremental slot revenue through rigorous analysis and multi-view reporting with concise recommendations that leads to proactive floor updates and problem solving.
• Coordinates all installation, removals, and conversions for all gaming devices.
• Interacts with the Director of Gaming Operations regarding day-to-day operation of all gaming related equipment.
• Responsible for the interpretation, and implementation of departmental policies, operating procedures, training programs, manuals, directives, work schedules and regulations for the Slot Repair staff. 
• Supervise team member development, reviewing training needs for technical staff members. 
• Assure that a high level of service is provided to internal and external guests.
• Oversee preventive maintenance program. 
• Assist the Director of Gaming Operations and Manager of Gaming Operations with planning and submitting for machine moves and conversions. 
• Supervise inventory of parts necessary for the repair and maintenance of all electronic gaming devices. 
• Oversees the coordination of slot machine moves with the Director of Gaming Operations and the Network Administrator. 
• Adheres to all casino policies and procedures.
• Complete all work orders in a timely manner.
• Ensuring the repair department is adequately staffed.
• Must maintain detailed knowledge of all slot machines on the casino floor.
• Responsible for all aspects of the Electronic Gaming Device (EGD) operations
• Responsible for maintaining Door Open Log
• Observe patrons for EGD abuse, sabotage, and cheating.
• Responsible for legibly completing ALL paperwork daily.
• Responsible for maintaining adequate Logs of all work performed.
• Responsible for working in a safe cautious manner so as to not endanger property, patrons, themselves or other Team Members
• Responsible for maintaining CDS system.
• Responsible for maintaining secure/drop system.
• Responsible for repairing, cleaning, and calibrating BAs in a timely manner.
• Maintaining all paperwork for all out of order machines
• Responsible for providing a clean environment for our guests by dumping ashtrays, disposing of unused cups, pushing in chairs, and cleaning machines.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Must pass initial drug screening, background investigation, and random drug tests.
• Good credit mandatory
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and excellent customer service skills.
• Must have the ability to work alone and as part of a team.
• Must maintain an excellent work attendance history.
• Must be detail oriented and possess organizational skills.
• Must have good communication skills both oral and written.
• Ability to maintain visual attention and mental concentration need to perform assigned duties in highly disruptive conditions.
• Must be able to identify and repair machine problems.
• Fix/ repair the games that are written up on the service log.
• Fix/ repair the games that are written up on the Slot Pass on log.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of all the various games options and test modes.
• Must be able to work mandatory overtime when required for installation, removal etc.
• Availability to work any shift.
• Preferred electronics background

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

• Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to respond to common inquires or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, and staff.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.  Effective interpersonal skills required.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:

• Associates Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Three or more years in slot management, plus three or more years’ experience with electronic maintenance and repair. 

MATHMATICAL SKILLS:

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. 
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY: 

• Ability to apply commonsense reasoning to a variety of situations and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. 
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form and deals with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Ability to maintain visual attention and mental concentration needed to perform assigned duties in highly disruptive conditions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 

• While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to talk, hear.
• The Team Member frequently is required to stand for extended periods in one position.
• Team Member is required to sit/stand and use hands and finger coordination, handle, or feel objects with continuous wrist, hand, arm and finger motion and dexterity.
• The Team Member is required to reach with hands and arms.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT 

• Must be able to work in a smoke-filled environment.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. 
• When on the casino floor, the noise level increases too loud. 
• The casino floor is a smoking environment, and the Team Member must be able to tolerate tobacco smoke.
