What this role entails and how you’ll contribute

The Delivery Manager is responsible for leading and driving coordination, end-to-end execution and delivery of complex Hallmark.com ecommerce digital initiatives often spanning multiple portfolios, technical teams, and business groups. This role may be aligned to a single or multiple product teams responsible for expansive scope and is one of the 4 'key' leads within an agile team and partners closely with the team assigned Product Manager, Engineering Lead and XD Lead. We are looking for a self-motivated facilitator and driver, collaborating with key stakeholders across business and technology to assemble end-to-end delivery of initiatives, assign responsibilities, identify appropriate resources needed, and develop integrated timelines to ensure timely and effective completion of initiatives by meeting project milestones. Success in this role will include driving and tracking deliverables and milestones, removing roadblocks, assessing risk and dependencies, providing escalation management, making tradeoffs, and balancing the business needs and technical constraints. Effective communication of initiative health and KPIs are critical to manage expectations with executive and manager level key stakeholders.

The day-to-day of this position includes the need to connect the dots, raise concerns, remove impediments, see opportunities for individuals and teams to improve, and coach through those opportunities. This role is a partner to product and technology to elevate and seek alignment to ensure everyone is on the same page. This role is critical in building Hallmark's future. As a Delivery Manager, you are the key lead for (but not limited to):

• Integration Management – Responsible for managing releases for the product team(s). Appropriate application and integration of multiple product team feature releases while balancing competing constraints, which include, but are not limited to: scope, quality, schedule, and risk. This includes applying knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques for integration activities to meet product release requirements.
• Process Health Results – Delivery Managers are team process coaches (Scrum Master, Agile Coach), and are responsible for process health results (the quality of collaboration across the whole team, the removal of impediments, and coaching towards improvements of the team(s). This includes the consistent and sustainable application of Lean/Agile principles and the fortitude to adjust to have the team incrementally improve and grow.
• Delivery Effectiveness – Applying key competencies maximizing effectiveness in achieving results and desired outcomes. Remove obstacles that could prevent product release, ultimately executing to deliver the product. Facilitation of decisions and trade-off choices, negotiations, as required, to deliver against timelines and influence stakeholder navigation of complex issues and ambiguity.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
The following is required to be considered for this role:

• Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years of professional work experience
• Minimum 3 years of agile digital delivery management experience
• Minimum 3 years experience working in Agile & SAFe, including Agile methodologies, SLDC, experience with budget, forecasting, resource management, and capacity planning

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Your resume/application will stand out if you have:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field
• 3 years with Agile digital delivery management experience with large scale projects in a fast-paced environment with dynamic circumstances, direction, and strategy

• 3 years of Scrum Master and/or Release Train Engineer (RTE) experience with an eCommerce digital product

• Experience working in JIRA Advanced Roadmaps and Confluence

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• A self-starter, able to work independently and autonomously, self-managing their priorities and workload

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

• This is a remote role, with travel to Hallmark's headquarters in Kansas City, MO 2-3 times per year.
• The salary range for this role is between $110,000 and $135,000 annually.
