Job Title: Slot Attendant

Rivers Casino Pittsburgh is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Slot Attendant to join our dynamic team. The Slot Attendant will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our slot machines and delivering exceptional guest service. This role involves a range of responsibilities, including handling guest inquiries, processing jackpots, and resolving minor technical issues. The ideal candidate should be a team player with strong communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enroll and assist new members in the slots rewards program
• Monitor slot dispatch system, I-Pods, and service lights for tasks requiring attention
• Perform minor slot machine repairs and replacements
• Process guest jackpots in compliance with company and gaming policies
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of assigned slot sections
• Provide courteous assistance to guests and address any concerns or complaints
• Uphold confidentiality of sensitive information disclosed by the casino, team members, or guests
• Ensure adherence to all internal controls and departmental procedures
• Participate in training and development activities for fellow team members
• Perform other duties as assigned by the management

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 6 months of experience in guest services
• 6 months of cash handling experience
• Proficiency in verbal and written English communication
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including holidays
• Strong team player with a customer-centric approach

Certifications:

• Obtain a Pennsylvania Gaming license

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and working on the Casino Floor
• Capacity to lift and pull up to 50lbs regularly
