    SUMMARY

    Consistently provide a high degree of prompt, considerate and courteous guest service by means of acknowledgement and accommodation.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Maintain a clean and organized work area keeping the guest area stocked with flyers.
    • Offer accessibility to guests by constantly monitoring assigned area.
    • Verify slot machine paper fills and verifies/performs hand pays.
    • Demonstrate proficiency and accuracy when performing transactions with money and/or filling out required paperwork.
    • Accurately handle receipts from sales, reconcile Keno and Bingo receipts, balances cash drawers and aids in additional sales products on a shift-by-shift basis.
    • Keep track of large amount of cash while paying out winnings and taking in sales in different drawers.
    • Comply with all gaming regulations regarding alcohol sales.
    • Respond to and accesses the condition of machines that indicate that service is needed.
    • Perform minor machine maintenance.
    • Perform on-line accounting functions and completes associated paperwork.
    • Learn basic keno tickets and how to condition them.
    • Recondition keno tickets as needed.
    • Scans winning keno tickets presented, calculates amount of winnings and pays guests.
    • Responsible for maintaining the pace and overall control of the game while pulling keno numbers and writing tickets.
    • Run the assigned casino areas for obtaining keno tickets for every game played and bingo floor sales.
    • Open and/or closed the keno game per schedules hours of operation.
    • Run Keno games at a minimum of six minutes per game.
    • Secure inventory and maintain accurate inventory records for Keno and Bingo.
    • Comply with all casino policy and procedures, MICs, Gaming Rules and Regulations and Title 31 requirements.
    • Ability to sell all Keno and Bingo games, related products and suggest additional items to each guest not only in the cage on a computer, but also on the floor sales.
    • Other duties as directed by management.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    While performing the duties of this job, Team Members may be exposed to secondhand tobacco smoke, including regular exposure for those working on the casino floor. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and can occasionally reach a high level for short periods of time.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Must be able to sit, stand and/or walk for up to 10 hours.
    • Must be able to carry, reach, twist, bend and squat frequently.
    • Must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance as needed.

    Required Experience:


    EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND ELIGIBILITY

    • Minimum age requirement for this position is 21 years old.
    • High School Diploma, G.E.D.
    • Able to pass a basic math test.
    • Ability to perform transactions on a 'remote validation system.'
    • Computer skills helpful.
    • Some cash handling experience.
    • Working knowledge of all Title 31 requirements and pass all Title 31 examinations.
    • IRS license for multi-game tickets. (Casino Expense)
    • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, verbally, in writing or by other acceptable means.
    • Comply with pre-employment, random and reasonable suspicion alcohol and drug testing.
    • Receive and maintain a valid gaming license from the CTCLUSI Tribal Gaming Commission.
    • Availability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays based on the needs of the department and for special casino events.
