The Marketing Manager directs the development, production and implementation of all marketing strategies and activities at Detwiler’s Farm Market. As a rapidly growing company, this individual needs to be able to identify opportunities and develop strategies for growth as well as oversee and manage day-to-day operations within the marketing department. This position requires an analytical and creative mind to effectively create and implement strategic growth in addition to a commitment to the highest level of customer service and professionalism.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Develop and maintain content and communications for marketing campaigns, activities and events.

Plan and prepare content for publication across different media channels, including social media posts, email, newsletters, signage, labels and merchandise.

Work closely with Graphic Design to oversee the creation of all in-store signage, sales flyers, print advertisements, private label projects and other design related work.

Oversee Detwiler’s social media accounts including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and Yelp to achieve marketing goals.

Assist with copywriting, artwork, and web workflow for planned print and digital marketing communications.

Develop relationships with community partners to enhance marketing objectives.

Develop and implement dynamic marketing promotions including store coupons, loyalty programs, and incentives both digital and print.

Manage the website including weekly updates to sales flyers, publishing blogs and recipes, and managing e-commerce site.

Maintain, evaluate, and improve the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) of website.

Work closely with third party vendors that help amplify the marketing goals of the company i.e. radio ads, paid search, print marketing services, etc.

Manage marketing department budget.

Provide monthly KPI reporting to President.

Triage requests as they arrive and prioritize tasks to meet turnaround goals.

Conduct market research to identify niche trends and create a target audience to build campaigns and promotions around.

Plan, test and implement new marketing strategies by creating brand image, reaching out to new target audiences and working within a budget to cover all necessary expenses.

Keep current with industry by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and/or participating in professional organizations.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision making

Strong writing and editing experience

Strong organizational and communication skills

Ability to evaluate data, determine trends, find opportunities and make recommendations

Experience with Adobe Suite including Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign, and Illustrator

Ability to problem-solve and work with or without direct supervision

Ability to meet short deadlines

Detail-oriented

WordPress and WooCommerce experience

Knowledge of Google Analytics

Proficiency using Microsoft Word and Outlook

Retail marketing experience preferred

Ability to follow Detwiler’s policies and procedures and handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
-
Minimum of 2 years of marketing experience.

Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field preferred.

Experience with Adobe Suite including Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign and Illustrator.
