Slot Shift Manager manages the slot department during an assigned shift. Approves jackpot and credit payouts and ensures that all appropriate forms are completed. Being a Slot Shift Manager confirms that all slot department equipment is functioning properly. Supervises all electronic gaming device personnel. Additionally, Slot Shift Manager ensures compliance with federal and state gaming regulations. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Slot Shift Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes.     Summary of Position

     

    Slot Floor Attendant is responsible for the day-to-day non-technical operations of the slot machines on the slot floor in their assigned area. Ensures all customers are attended to promptly and courteously in their assigned slot section.

    1. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following and are subject to change at management’s discretion:
    • Performs slot machine transactions.
    • Operates hand held commination device.
    • Completes requires IRS forms to document withholdings on gambling winnings, when necessary.
    • Maintains an imprested bank to make change for quests on casino floor.
    • Acts as a Casino floor host, assisting customers and explaining machines and rules, when appropriate.
    • Helps clean slot areas and machines in their assigned section.
    • Maintains quality level of customer service at all times.
    • Must meet performance standards according to IMGR&C Attendance Policy.
    • Adheres to all regulatory, departmental, and casino policies and procedures, and to the casino Internal Control Structure.
    • Performs other duties as required.

    • High school diploma or general education diploma (GED). Six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license. Mescalero Apache Tribal preference; bicultural experience preferred.
