Slot Shift Manager manages the slot department during an assigned shift. Approves jackpot and credit payouts and ensures that all appropriate forms are completed. Being a Slot Shift Manager confirms that all slot department equipment is functioning properly. Supervises all electronic gaming device personnel. Additionally, Slot Shift Manager ensures compliance with federal and state gaming regulations. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Slot Shift Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. SUMMARY: Responsible for providing exceptional guest service to all guests and ensure gaming machines are constantly, and consistently, monitored. Ensure guest needs are met at all times. The ultimate objective of this position is to help advance the Seminole Nation by delivering value and signature moments every day.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include, but are not limited to the following:
• Creates and supports a work environment/culture focused on building high-trust relationships by extending support and respect to all.
• Works in conjunction with the Slot Supervisor in the guidance of personnel and efficient operation of the slot floor during their assigned shift.
• Oversees the daily slot operations of the casino and ensures compliance with all the policies and procedures in absence of the Supervisor.
• Shall act as signatory and verifier on jackpots as detailed in policies and procedures.
• Minor slot machine repair including but not limited to ticket and bill jams, and ticket replenishment as required.
• Maintain an accurate count of paper inventory.
• Ensure that operation of equipment, tools and materials are handled in a safe manner.
• Prepares all required paperwork as necessary.
• Answers questions from guests regarding machine play and promotions.
• Brings disputes and unusual guest activities to the attention of the Slots Supervisor.
• Promotes positive guest relations through prompt, courteous and efficient service.
• Provide complimentary services to all customers.
• Promotes a clean, safe and healthy work environment for employees and guests;
• Promptly reports all concerns to the Supervisor.
• Assists in the training of new Slot Attendants.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS - EXPERIENCE and/or EDUCATION:
Equivalent to a high school education with three (3) months to twelve (12) months of similar or related experience.
