Slot Shift Manager manages the slot department during an assigned shift. Approves jackpot and credit payouts and ensures that all appropriate forms are completed. Being a Slot Shift Manager confirms that all slot department equipment is functioning properly. Supervises all electronic gaming device personnel. Additionally, Slot Shift Manager ensures compliance with federal and state gaming regulations. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Slot Shift Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. REPORTS TO: Slot Manager
DEPARTMENT: Slots
Starting Wage: $13.25 per hour
SUMMARY:
Performs repairs and maintenance on slot machines. Assists in jackpot payouts.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Slot Technician includes the following with other duties as assigned by the Slot Manager and/or Floor Supervisor. Performs duties in compliance with the company standards, Performs routine maintenance and service checks on all slot machines. Inspects machines as a result of short pays or improper jackpot payoffs. Verifies jackpots and escorts if needed. Maintains proper records pertaining to the activities of all slot machines. Programs progressive and sets up Slot Tournament machines. Performs Diagnostics and repairs faulty mechanical components for other areas as needed. Uses Diagnostic equipment to repair and adjusts slot machine components. Fill and does repairs on the Kiosk machines. May at times be required to do training. Employee shall comply with all BSA/AML regulations, reporting, and training requirements – Specifically those in the Grand River Casino Written System of Internal Controls (and appendices) for BSA/AML Compliance.
PREREQUISITES:
Must be 21 years of age or older. Must qualify for a Standing Rock Sioux Tribal Key Gaming license. Must have 20/20 corrected vision. Must have proficient computer knowledge.
EDUCATION: High school graduate or GED.
EXPERIENCE: Six months Slot Technician experience or related electrical experience preferred
PHYSICAL: Must be able to physically withstand continued walking, standing, bending, reaching and heavy lifting up to 50 lbs
