Slot Shift Manager manages the slot department during an assigned shift. Approves jackpot and credit payouts and ensures that all appropriate forms are completed. Being a Slot Shift Manager confirms that all slot department equipment is functioning properly. Supervises all electronic gaming device personnel. Additionally, Slot Shift Manager ensures compliance with federal and state gaming regulations. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. POSITION SUMMARY:
The Slot Technician II promotes a positive customer experience by repairing and monitoring the performance of the slot machines to ensure the games are operational. Assist patrons and associates in resolving immediate problems such as coin jams, tilts, jackpots, player tracking on-line problems, and replaces parts in a prompt and courteous manner and according to established policies, procedures, regulations and ordinances
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High school graduate or equivalent, at least one (1) year experience in working with machines or related field. Must be 21 years of age.
SKILLS:
Knowledge of machine pay tables and machine functions, basic knowledge of tools and their applications, ability to be trained and adapt to changes as they occur. Must possess good written and oral communication skills and basic knowledge of computers
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: N/A
EQUIPMENT TO BE USED: Corded and cordless drills, socket wrenches, soldering iron, stand jack, multi-meter, small hand tools, e-prom chips, SD cards, and other miscellaneous hand tools.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and exercise good judgment in evaluating situations and taking effective action. Communicate and present ideas effectively orally. While performing duties of this position, employee is required to stand and walk for extended periods, and use hands to; finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Occasionally sit. Must be able to lift 75 pounds with occasional lifting of more than 200 pounds, assisted. Ability to manage stress appropriately, make decisions under pressure, manage anger, fear, hostility and violence of others appropriately. Walking and standing 85% - 90% of shift.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Ability to work in casino environment, in the midst of noise, crowded situations, etc.
