SLOT TECHNICIAN maintains slot machines, replaces parts, and cleans machines as needed. Removes machines from gaming floor with the aid of a hand truck as needed. Being a SLOT TECHNICIAN may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The SLOT TECHNICIAN may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Purpose of Position:
Troubleshoot, repair and maintain slot machines. Ensure that all Slot Machines are up and running during course of the shift.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on all EGM cabinets (cleaning/vacuuming, calibrating touch sensors, checking button functionality, inspecting aesthetic appearance, etc).
• Clear acceptor and printer jams.
• Navigate game menus to access gameplay histories, and read pay tables.
• Maintain an understanding of job responsibilities and department policy and procedures.
• Assist in loading, unloading, moving, breaking down and setting up slot machines as required.
• Change basic machine parts as necessary (buttons, printers, validators, monitors).
• Respond to Kai service calls in a timely, efficient manner.
• Communicate issues to Lead Technicians and Supervisors as necessary.
• Communicate with Bench Technicians of any inventory needs in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent is required, unless otherwise waived by the Director of Human Resources.
• Electronics equipment experience preferred.
• Experience working with slot machines and equipment preferred.
Must be able to work Nights, Weekends, and Holidays
