Small Engine Mechanic repairs fractional-horsepower gasoline engines used to power lawnmowers, garden tractors, and similar machines. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being a Small Engine Mechanic may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Small Engine Mechanic relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.     Forklift Mechanic Responsibilities Include:

    Perform scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, identify and repair on forklifts at our customer locations. Complete all required documentation via fax, written, or electronically in time frame provided. The Forklift Mechanic will be required to keep inventory of parts and tools. This person will work with the Parts team to ensure you have the correct parts and documentation. In this role, you will be responsible for communicating with multiple people; excellent communication skills with an emphasis on courteous and expert customer service is required. You will be expected responsible for these duties in a safe and timely manner.

    Qualifications:

    High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

    Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Forklift Mechanic, with electric, IC, and Propane experience. Model include Crown, Unicarrier, Yale, Hyster, Toyota or Raymond.

    or 3 years of Auto, Diesel, Small Engine or Boat Mechanic Experience

    Proven track record of troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing equipment required.

    Experience repairs masts, cylinders, and transmissions preferred

    Ability to use voltmeters, ohm meter and ability to read electrical schematics required.

    You must have basic mechanics tools such as wrenches, sockets, etc. (Company will provide specialty tools, compressors, etc)

    Hourly rate based on experience

    Valid Drivers License with clear driving record

    Ability to lift 50 lbs

    Pre-employment screening & physical required
